Engr. Kristian Lazona
Kristian Lazona is a licensed engineering geologist and safety practitioner with over a decade of technical expertise in geotechnical investigation, hydrology, and construction management.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Geological and Earth Science from Adamson University (2014) and a master’s degree in Management Engineering from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (2018).
Currently serving as General Manager and Geotechnical Consultant for Groundsolv Development Corporation, Kristian has led numerous industrial projects, including geotechnical investigations, geo-resistivity and thermal resistivity surveys, soil testing, and deep well drilling for environmental and structural compliance.
His career highlights include:
Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Boskalis, contributing to the Manila International Airport Project through soil testing and ground improvement work.
Project lead at Semirara Mining and Power Corporation, managing the Open-Pit Dewatering Drilling Program and geological databases.
Hydrologist and engineering geologist at Maynilad Water Services Inc.
Geotechnical team leader at Geotechnics Philippines Inc. (GPI), overseeing investigations for high-rise structures, bridges, dams, and roads — with responsibilities spanning drilling management, safety, and technical reporting.
Kristian is known for his creativity, efficiency, and clear communication, earning multiple commendations for being decisive, self-driven, and proactive.
Outside of work, he enjoys going to the gym, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
